Scenario demonstration: Set Up Task Schedule
Scenario demonstration: Set Up Task Schedule
Updated over 3 years ago

Welcome to the Super 8 tutorial. This section will teach you how to set up Task Scheduler.

Here are a few concerns:

In the behavior-type of the Super 8 Platform editor, there is an option of "Task Schedule Set Up", but not many people are aware of its purpose and under what circumstances to use it? Next, let us dive into this question to find the answer!

Description:

When the scenario you expect is that the customer can receive your message again after completing an action, we suggest you select the "Task Schedule Set Up" option.

Assumed scenario: customers participate in a challenge with one question a day, and those who answer correctly will receive the next question the next day. Those who complete the challenge will get an exquisite small gift.

1. Establishment of processes: Challenge

Trigger steps: In the trigger method under the Enter Condition, select "Triggered by The Content Sent by the Customer," and the condition is when the customer enters the keyword "challenge". The example here is for demonstration purposes only. Please define the keyword according to your actual situation.

Step 1: Leave out of Enter Condition without settings. Select "Send Message" as the behavior-type under Behavior and fill in the message content. The content message here is to expect customers to reply with "Start Challenge", so click "Yes" for "Waiting For Response" and go ahead to set "Accept Conditions".

Under Accept Condition, disable "Allow Customers to Leave The Step", but enable "Checking Accept Condition", and fill in the keyword "Start Challenge" in Conditions. This setting means that the customer must respond to the content set in your "Behavior". If there is a response, it needs to match the keyword conditions you set before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2: Open Check the Enter Condition, it should be when the customer enters the keyword "Start Challenge"; select "Forward the process" for the behavior-type in Behavior; select "Question 1" for the Process Name.

The scenario of this process is that when a customer enters keyword "challenge", the robot will first send a welcome message and a card to start the challenge, and follow by guiding the customer forward to the process "Question 1" when clicking "Start Challenge".

Customer perspective

Establishment of processes: Question 1

Trigger steps: In the trigger method under the Enter Condition, select "Triggered by Other Process".

Step 1: Leave out of Enter Condition without settings. Select "Send Message" as the behavior-type under Behavior and fill in the message content. The content message here is to expect customer's response, so click "Yes" for "Waiting For Response" and go ahead to set "Accept Condition".

Under Accept Condition, enable "Allow Customers to Leave The Step", enable "Checking Accept Condition," and fill in the keyword in Condition. This setting means that the customer is allowed not to respond with the content set in your "Behavior". If there is a response, it needs to match the keyword conditions you set before proceeding to the next step.

Step 2: Open "Check the Enter Conditions", and set the condition as when the customer enters the keyword "I want to select C". Select "Send Message" as the behavior-type under Behavior and fill in the message content.

Step 3: Open "Check the Enter Conditions", and set the condition as when the customer enters the keyword "I want to select C". Select "Set Up Task Schedule" for the behavior-type in Behavior; set the scheduling interval as '1' day; set the parameter name in the scheduling condition as 'day', and set the value of custom content as 'day2'. The example here is for demonstration purposes only. Please define the parameter name and custom content according to your actual situation.

Step 4: Open "Check the Enter Condition", and set the conditions as when the customer enters the keyword "I want to select A", "I want to select B". Select "Send Message" as the behavior-type under Behavior and fill in the message content.

Step 5: Leave out of Enter Condition without settings. Select "Send Message" as the behavior-type under Behavior and fill in the message content.

The scenario of this process is that when a customer enters the process of "Question 1", the robot will send out the first question. If the customer answers the question correctly, a correct answer message will be sent to the customer, followed by entering the task scheduler, and the second question will be sent after an interval of one day. If the customer answers incorrectly, a message of the wrong answer will be sent, and he will lose the qualification for the challenge. Finally, the robot will send a detailed explanation of the question.

3. Establishment of processes: Question 2

Trigger steps: In the trigger method under the Enter Condition, select "Triggered by Other Schedule", and the parameter name and custom content must be the same as the previous schedule to be successfully triggered. Therefore, the parameter name here should be set as 'day', and the custom content is set as 'day2'.

The setting process of the subsequent steps is the same as that of Question 1. Please refer to the setting steps of Question 1 or download the tutorial file to view.

4. Establishment of processes: Question 3

Trigger steps: In the trigger method under the Enter Condition, select "Triggered by Other Schedule", and the parameter name and custom content must be the same as the previous schedule to be successfully triggered. Therefore, the parameter name here should be set as 'day', and the custom content is set as 'day3'.

Since this process is the final question, there are no further steps needed to set up another schedule. The setting process of the subsequent steps is the same as that of Question 1. Please refer to the setting steps of Question 1 or download the tutorial file to view.

The scenario of this process is that when a customer enters the process of "Question 3", the robot will send out the third question. If the customer answers the question correctly, a correct answer message will be sent to the customer, followed by sending a QR code to the customer for exchanging an exquisite gift at the store. If the customer answers incorrectly, a message of the wrong answer will be sent, and he will lose the qualification for the challenge. Finally, the robot will send a detailed explanation of the question.
