Updated over a week ago

Welcome to the tutorial on Instant Shopping. This article will guide you through managing products, inventory, and adding new products through the "Product List."

Key Points:

1. Product List

  1. List Management: From the list page, you can see the "Inventory Status" and "On/Off Switch."

  • Inventory: It's the sum of quantities for all variants of the product. When the total quantity is below the set safety stock, an "orange light" will appear, and when there's no inventory, a "red light" will appear. (Safety stock setting can be found in Shop Settings - Basic Settings)

  • Sort Brand/Series Name: Sorts product categories by stroke count in names, such as numbers 0-9, English letters A-Z, and Chinese characters by stroke count, from fewest to most strokes. *Reminder: Sorting doesn't support rare characters or Japanese-made Chinese characters, such as 沢, 婹, 龘, etc., which will be considered as having 0 strokes.

  • On/Off Switch: Indicates the availability of the product. It controls whether the product appears in the product list in the Message Center.

2. Add New Product

Click on "Add New Product" in the upper right corner of the list to start listing products.

Editable Product Details:

On/Off Button: Can be toggled on/off. If the product information is created but not yet for sale, it's recommended to turn off the on/off button for editing. Once the information is confirmed and ready for sale, the button can be turned on.

  1. Upload Image: Multiple images can be uploaded at once, each image should not exceed 1 MB, and the supported image size is 500x500 pixels.

  2. Product Description: Currently supports text-based product descriptions.

  3. Inventory and Variants: Inventory can be edited directly, and the total inventory quantity will be displayed in the product list.

  • Edit Variants: Supports up to two variants, such as flavor, size, color, etc., which can be customized. Each variant can have up to 20 different options. Besides adding new options, changing the field of the variant's name will be treated as a new product and the data will be cleared.

  • Product Number: Fill in according to the logic of customer product numbers.

  • Inventory Quantity: Can be changed at any time.

  • Original Price: Required.

  • Special Price: Optional, but if filled, the original price will be displayed with a strikethrough on the top left, and the special price will be displayed below. If not filled, the price will be the same as the original price without a strikethrough.

3. Batch Add Products

Click on "Batch Add Products" in the upper right gray area, and for the first time, you can download the sample file.

Open the sample file, "*" indicates required fields.

Same Product Different Variants: You need to fill in the same "Product Name," "Brand/Series Name," and "Product Description" to be considered the same product. At least one name and one item need to be filled in for the variant field.

Format Restrictions: The header text of each column cannot be changed, and columns cannot be added or deleted, otherwise, it will cause the system to be unable to read, resulting in batch upload failure or incorrect format.

  • The program will determine whether the data belongs to the same product based on the product name and series name. Data with different information in two lines will be considered as two separate products. After import, all data will be added as new products without replacing existing products.

  • Product variants will not be expanded here as in the web version. For example, in the template, iPhone 14 with colors red 512GB and gray 1T are two different products. On the web version, it will be expanded into 4 variants (2x2), but it won't check if all combinations are filled during import. If users edit on the web version without re-adjusting the variant options, they can still save two, but if they re-adjust the options, the combinations will be expanded again (it will be 2 during upload, but if edited in the background, it will be expanded into 2x2=4 variants).

  • The product number (SKU) must be unique within an organization. If a customer uploads a new product SKU that duplicates an existing one, the addition of the new product will fail.

Reminder: Please note that each user's Messenger web version, Messenger App, and LINE App versions, as well as device screen sizes, may vary, resulting in differences between the number of characters displayed in the preview and the actual device screen. It's recommended to test on different devices and adjust the number of characters according to the smallest width.

After completing the above settings, please proceed to the Order List to manage the latest orders!
