We provide two methods for installing Livechat:

  • Website Installation: Directly copy the installation code and paste it before the </body> tag on every page of the website.

  • Using GTM for Installation


Using GTM for Installation

  • Log into your Google Tag Manager (GTM) account.

  • Click on "Overview" and then select "Add a new tag."

  • Select "Custom HTML" tag, and enter a name for your container in the top left corner, using "S8-Livechat" as an example.

  • Go to the S8 organization settings Live Chat management screen, and then click on "Website Connection Settings."

  • Click the "Copy Installation Code" button on the top right to copy the full code.

  • Return to Google Tag Manager and paste the installation code into the HTML container.

  • In the "Triggering" section:

    Step 1: Click on the edit icon in the top right corner.

    Step 2: Select "All Pages" as the trigger condition.

  • Click the "Save" button in the top right corner to complete the setup of the tag.
