This guide will help you understand the construction and specification limits of card messages. After integrating with Super 8, you can send four types of card formats: Option Cards, Confirmation Cards, Carousel (multi-page images), and Image Text Messages, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of your messages.

These card messages can be used in the Message Center, Mass Messaging, and Chatbots, with the same settings and specifications applicable across all. This demonstration will focus on the Mass Messaging screen.

Supported Platforms

Although Super 8 offers four types of card formats, the card types supported vary across platforms:

  • LINE: Supports all types of card messages.

  • Facebook: Only supports Option Cards and Confirmation Cards.

  • Instagram: Only supports Option Cards and Confirmation Cards.


Option Cards

Option Cards allow you to display information with images and text, clearly indicating buttons that customers can click. Each button can be customized with a label name, automatically tagging when clicked by a user, applicable in all scenarios.

  • Card limit: Up to 10 cards per chat bubble.

  • Button limit: Up to three buttons per card.

  • Image size: 960x1553, 960x960, or 960x500.


Confirmation Cards

Confirmation Cards are a simpler format without image uploads, using text only, suitable for scenarios requiring straightforward customer responses.

  • Card limit: Only one card per chat bubble.

  • Button limit: Two buttons per card (fixed card format).

  • Image size: Image upload is not supported.


Carousel (Multi-Page Images)

Carousel cards hide buttons within images, displaying information you wish to convey through images. Users must click on the image to trigger the button action, suitable for highlighting featured products with visually appealing images.

  • Card limit: Up to 10 cards per chat bubble.

  • Button limit: One button hidden within each image.

  • Image size: 960x1553, 960x960, or 960x500.


Image Text Messages

Similar to image menus, you can upload an image and define areas for customer interaction. You can choose from fixed templates or customize the cutting area, applicable in all scenarios.

  • Card limit: Up to one image text message per chat bubble.

  • Button limit: Each light blue framed area can set one return action.

  • Image size: Fixed templates are 1040 x 1040, custom templates range from 1040 x 520 to 2080.


Note:

  • The file size limit for uploaded images is 5MB. It's recommended to compress images to avoid long upload times.

  • Since LINE officially crops the "960 x 500" format slightly, it's advisable to refer to guidelines on optimal file sizes, dimensions, and aspect ratios for card images.
